Earthed: Small Works
Landscape is not only what we see.
It is the slow record of change, bushland cleared, habitats reshaped, traces of human hope and disruption layered into the ground. What we call 'natural' is always shifting, always in question.
Earthed responds to this living terrain.
These works listen to the quiet symphonies of the forest, rhizomes threading through soil, roots and branches reaching, water moving through gullies, sunlight touching the surface while subterranean life carries on below.
Created with watercolour, charcoal, and gouache on Arches 300gsm, each piece emerges from long hours of experimentation, materials flowing, pigments moving like elemental processes, abstraction and recognition playing their part.
These paintings invite you into that world of intricate, often unseen activity. They ask for contemplation, for a moment of reconnection with the resilience and fragility of non‑human life.
Once in your space, may they might summon earth’s own being and beauty, its persistence, its ongoing life all around us.
These works are priced unframed.
