Yarrowee River bend

The is a reproduction of a small watercolour painting, which captures the experience of walking the banks of the Yarrowee River, an entity which has undergone constant change; the red earth appears where extensive work is ongoing, to remove gorse that began its invasion with the gold rush, whilst the river itself has been cleared of weeds and pollution. Vegetation regains a hold, and there are grasses and birds too, this is a place that lives and is in motion.
