Staying with inspiration from earth elements of my Ballarat locality, it focuses upon the bright, oxidised sandstone rock first created when gold mining sliced through a hillside. here I connect patterns in paint with the vitality of resilient life in the landscape.
The original work used earth pigments, charcoal and gouache on Arches watercolour paper.
